Tashkent, Uzbekistan – French cardiac surgeon Olivier Baron has arrived in Tashkent to offer specialist advice and treatment to Uzbek children from lower socio-economic backgrounds with congenital heart diseases. During the surgeon’s week-long visit, Dr. Olivier Baron will examine and provide consultations to about 70 children from across Uzbekistan. Children with the most complex forms of heart defect will receive essential surgery.
This charity campaign is supported and funded by Lola Tillyaeva’s You Are Not Alone Foundation. As part of this programme, French cardiac surgeons have operated on over 130 Uzbek children in need since 2015.
